We received a probate job to open an under floor Safe, as often happens, involved the executor of a will discovering a safe—this time an underfloor safe—with the combination unknown.

Fortunately, I was able to attend and open the safe for the client. Just as well, too—it was filled to the brim with jewellery the executor had no idea existed.

As the client rightly said to me, “The cost of the safe opening comes off the estate!”
